George Mountis works with high-profile HNW individuals and their families, providing comprehensive succession planning legal services to serve their personal requirements, whether in transitioning or maintaining and maximizing the value of their assets, taking into account all-important inheritance rules, ownership, future targets, and challenges and continuity. He has significant expertise in trusts, wills, and advising on asset protection structures aiming to address, to the greatest extent possible, the individual needs and circumstances of each client.
Among others, George advises on various multi-faceted and novel legal issues on trusts, foundations, wills and succession shareholders rights, directors duties, corporate governance , arbitration and winding-up petitions.
He is currently serving as the Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics, a leading non-profit medical centre in Cyprus, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Nicosia Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He is appointed Secretary of the Court and Registrar of Cyprus Eurasia Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Center.
George holds an LLM (Corporate & Commercial Law) from the London School of Economics & Political Science, an LLB (Hons) from the University of Kent, as well as a Diploma in Economics of Competition Law from King’s College London. He is Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators FCiArb, and a CEDR Accredited Mediator.
