Nicos brings a wealth of experience at C-level roles in the real estate sector and the audit profession and can advise on buying and selling properties and on development projects, as well as provide assistance in raising new financing and in restructuring and renegotiation of existing financial facilities.
He served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at J&P Cyprus for twenty-two years, being responsible for advising the Board of Directors on business, financial and tax issues of the Group, as well as being in charge of Administration, HR, IT, Legal and external relations. In addition he was responsible for the financial appraisal and budgeting of various development projects that J&P and its subsidiaries undertook and for monitoring the budgets during the construction stage.
Before that, Nicos worked as an auditor for sixteen years in big audit firms in the UK, Greece and Cyprus. He managed clients involved in a variety of businesses including shipping, construction, hotels, restaurant franchises, household product trading groups, and bottling and distribution of soft drinks. His services to clients during this time included carrying out annual audits as well as investment appraisals, providing tax advice and advice on raising capital, assessing, improving and implementing internal control systems, and consulting on financial planning and budgeting.
Nicos holds a degree from the Athens University of Economics and Business, and is a member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants.
